This work expresses the oft sought after ideal of adventure, discovery and the unhurried time to appreciate it all.

A meandering pathway that leads from the north end of Hahei Beach up the adjacent hill gives inspiration for this image looking south wards down the beach to the iconic Hahei Pa headland.

An outwardly tranquil beachside composition – beneath the surface though it is built on complex layers of handmixed colours – all hand printed in my Gisborne Studio. Harataonga is a stunning beach location on the east coast of Great Barrier Island.
