Medlands Peak

Medlands beach lies on the southeast coast of Great Barrier Island.  It is bookended by two prominent headlands along with two small islands protruding from the beach/surf zone.

This print was inspired by an early morning walk near its northern end. It’s a place I never tire of returning to.  The eastern seaboard of Great Barrier has continued to inspire, since my first art screenprint of the island some 40 years ago.
